The following advice applies to League and Annual Competitions.
You
may only enter upto three images, which may be monochrome or colour,
and
may be
in Film
Slide
or
Digital
format.
You may not enter an image in this section if you are
entering the same image in any of the other sections. All
other competition rules apply.
Digital files should be sequence numbered, titled (these
should be reflected in the file name) and then saved to a folder; this
folder should be labelled with the year, number and name of the competition,
for your reference purposes.
On "hand in" nights, Digital entries may be e-mailed to the Projected Image
Secretary clearly stating the titles, order of entry and Standard or Advanced;
entries on CD or Memory Stick must be accompanied by an official entry
form, as must all Film Slides. They will then be sorted and
burnt to CD ready for handing to the competition
judge. Film Slides will be scanned for showing on Competition Night, but
will be presented to the judge as Film Slides.
Should the section be overwhelmed with entries, it may be necessary
to reduce the entry to 2 per worker so the third image would not be submitted
to the judge.
Instructions for preparing the Digital Images may be downloaded from here in pdf format.
